World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key part of gearing up your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enhancements.

They also offer bonuses and improvements. They are available through the Blacksmith.

Players can recycle any item upgrader mod by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapon

When a weapon gets upgraded, it gets a base damage bonus and an adjustment factor that affects other stats. The weapon can also gain a variety of upgrade components, which provide additional attributes or effects, and some have distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. The majority of them require that the equipment is equipped with an upgrade slot and meets certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from a weapon, armor, or trinket, but it will not be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be recovered by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or a high-tier salvaging tool on an item upgrader mod.

A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times based on the weapon's level.

After the weapon has reached its maximum level of upgrade it can be reforged to add different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. Several of these upgrades can be used at once, and their effects differ based on the quality of the weapon.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the kind of damage a weapon deals.

In general, it's best to improve your weapon's damage first. Then you can improve your armor defense, and then, the secondary stats required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids enhancing their weapon prior to any other gear, because it can increase DPS. This is particularly true for enchantments that can boost a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item Upgrades allow players to increase the effectiveness of certain armors, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades can also give additional effects, such as additional damage or a cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.

Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor will upgrade to the next level after an upgrade. This is possible for most types of armor, however some items cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).

The majority of armor upgrades boost the strength or defense of an item by only a tiny amount. However, certain upgrade components can provide significant improvements in strength or defense, especially when upgrading an item that is epic.

Certain upgrades offer specific abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, such as giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have passive effects that are useful like reducing damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.

Upgrades to armor can require several attempts, depending on the type. For example for instance, if a player wants to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59 and 67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with the base defense between 67 and 77, and so on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each location has a powerful fair who can improve a piece of armor for you.

Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not in any way useless. Certain armors provide a significant increase in the ability to reduce the damage caused by poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them valuable for certain builds. There are many other ways to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger to reduce the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

By putting a potion in the brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another tier of potion effects, and can be re-used to unlock more potencies.

The potions also have an individual color, which can be set by the player using the /give. The color will affect the effect clouds' area-of-effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the effects of the potion's particle effects.

The water bottle, a common thick and awkward potions now have a new brewing texture. Added potion of weakness and potion of healing in Creative inventory. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be brewed by using Dragon breath or splash potions. Also included is a potent potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket is a small ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. This can be a ring, necklace, or even a small flag that is used to mark a boat's lateen yard. It could also be a reference to a gilded trinket on the mast of a ship.

This macabre trinket seems to be influencing the denizens of this maze which makes them more prevalent. At the moment, this trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more common and gives each floor an X% chance of having an ebony mimic. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.

This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to influence the dungeon by increasing the probability of generating water and grass. At the moment, this trinket will make X% of floors filled with water or grass, but it doesn't affect enchantments, symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or other items created to aid in the elimination of hazards.

The item, which appears like a eyes of a nymph, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond simply decreasing your field of view. At the present time, this trinket increases the overall health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and gives you vision on enemies within the Y tiles. This trinket cannot be combined with the Increased Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters, and in chests and crates. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

When you find a trinket that needs to be upgraded put it in the Anvil to do so. This will have an effect on the trinket which is random and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reuse the trinket as often as you'd like but it will always have an effect that is new.

You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy, however it will increase the power of the trinkets by a tiny amount.
